Krueger graduated from Missouri S & T in Rolla with a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering. He then went on to receive
a Master of Business Administration from St. Louis University. Krueger worked at the City of Clayton as a Civil Engineer
from 2009-2013 and at the City of Chesterfield from 2014-2019, before joining Team Kirkwood.
Krueger said what drew him to Kirkwood was the growth potential of the city. As well as the opportunity for hands-on
and interesting projects. “I really enjoy dealing with transportation projects that focus on pedestrian safety and bike
infrastructure,” said Krueger.
Krueger will take over this position following the retirement of current Public Services Director Bill Bensing. Bensing has
over 40 years of experience in the industry. About 24 of those years have been serving the City of Kirkwood. Krueger
said the knowledge and insight he has gained working with Bensing is invaluable.
